NDIS reform – survey of impacts

We want to hear your experiences with NDIS reforms and outdoor services
Outdoor Health Australia is collecting feedback on funding and access to therapeutic outdoor supports within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), especially in light of the 2024 NDIS exclusions (still in draft form).

We’d value hearing from:
– NDIS participants, families & carers
– Providers and referrers of outdoor therapy
– Anyone working in or advocating for outdoor health & wellbeing

Your insights will help us push for fair, evidence-informed access to outdoor supports.

The survey is short and can be completed multiple times if you have ongoing updates.

We are looking for specific stories that can be shared as examples of ;
1)The impact of losing access to outdoor-based supports (if that has occurred)
2) The need to adapt goals or codes to ensure outdoor-based supports can continue
3) The tangible benefits and outcomes from outdoor-based supports for all kinds of people that support increased participation and independence in daily life.

If you are willing to have your story shared please provide your e-mail address in the following question and we will contact you.
