Hi everyone! I’m relatively new to OHA, having attended my first forum in 2024, and I feel like I’ve found my tribe. I’m excited to be a new member of the Research and Evidence team and to contribute to the OHA community.
I have a Master of Play Therapy, which I’ve used to develop an Equine and Animal Assisted Therapy business on my farm near Geelong/Djilang, on Wadawurrung Country. Most of my sessions take place outdoors on the farm, supporting clients to connect with nature through therapeutic experiences.
More recently, I completed my Master of Counselling, including a research project exploring family-focused nature-based therapy. I found the research fascinating and hope to develop this work further.
I’m also part of the working group helping to plan the next OHA Forum in 2027 at Gariwerd. This is a particularly special place for me, as it has been home to my family for generations. I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
