Celebrating Our Collective Contribution
As we move through 2026, we celebrate the incredible commitment of our OHA community. Following our May AGM, we welcomed the 2026/27 Leadership Team and farewelled our outgoing leaders, whose dedication has helped strengthen OHA.
Over the past year, volunteers, committees and project teams have progressed key priorities across practice, research, policy, advocacy and community engagement. Highlights include our Ethical Standards and Practice Principles, stronger participant and Indigenous perspectives, greater inclusion, the publication of Outdoor Health with Springer Nature, and continued research and sector development.
We warmly welcome Tony Varcoe as OHA Executive Officer and thank Bronwyn Paynter for her significant contribution as DJSIR Project Officer. We also acknowledge our Regional Representatives and everyone helping build a connected, ethical, inclusive and sustainable outdoor health sector.
There are many ways to be involved. Membership is a $65 investment in your professional community and supports the resources available through OHA.
